Gumon (Boggat bestiary)

A series of hand made characters illustrations for a bestiary of a fairy based world as part of final year BA illustration course in 2012
boggart description: Gumon
Gumom are known as the king of the boggart family, as its high intellect is used in protecting boggart habitat. They are both powerful and stubborn, often using Musazles as a way of communicating or negotiating to other boggarts their ideas and intended actions. Their thick curls come with age and maturity, often showing a boggart’s social standing. They have such high intellect that they have been known to manipulate even human actions. Due to their status they are usually protected by many other boggarts making it difficult to get close too or see them.

Brownies: A Gumom would only become tame if it did not feel threatened, or it had a particular respect for the human. This could be through the trust in other boggarts, as well as the human performing a challenging task that boggarts could not naturally do.
