Creating swifts visual design was important as the main character for the sunflower swift game.
the character had to be cute and simplistic but also magical to standout in the game.
working off initial sketches through to a simplified flat vector form was the first route but lacked character appeal, from this developing an idea of a 3d form in greyscale before exaggerating appealing features like a larger head and more Chibi proportions to give a cute and wholesome aesthetic.
