Rummie (Boggat bestiary)

A series of hand made characters illustrations for a bestiary of a fairy based world as part of final year BA illustration course in 2012
boggart description: Rummie
Despite the spiky mane Rummies are very timid creatures, using many of the spikes to pick up foliage and help blend into the environment, in fear of being seen. These small boggarts are shy by nature and will often climb up high into trees, or dig deep burrows making them difficult to find. Its halo-form horns seem to distort its distance in the eyes of possible threats.

Brownies: Rummies are highly sensitive, which can be a good or bad thing, depending on the emotions of the person taming them. They are good at sensing threats, as well as finding rare and high quality food and berries.
